Platform Development & Integration

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of Service Now solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems.
  • Ensure platform architecture is scalable, secure, and aligned with Service Now best practices and enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate with Platform Architecture to evolve the platform in line with the broader technology roadmap.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Oversee the analysis of project outcomes and the development of process improvements based on analytical findings.
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics and data modeling tools to optimize performance and predict future challenges.
  • Ensure quality across all engineering processes and outputs.

Platform Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure the platform is maintained and supported in accordance with ITIL processes (Access, Incident, Change, Problem Management).
  • Oversee regular upgrades, patches, and administrative tasks to maintain platform health and compatibility.
  • Implement security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Agile Delivery & DevOps

  • Guide the Scrum Master and development squads in agile delivery practices, ensuring timely and quality releases.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, testing, and deployment of Service Now solutions.
  • Promote DevOps practices to enhance delivery velocity and platform reliability.

Stakeholder Engagement & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into technical solutions and user stories.
  • Work with Business Analysts and QA teams to ensure development meets requirements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Operations to manage platform changes and resolve issues.

Not Required but Preferred Experience:

  • Certifications specific to Service Now architecture and administration.
  • Experience with implementing ITIL processes within a Service Now environment.
