Role summary:
The Principal, Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale programs by defining goals, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving end-to-end technology solutions. Enterprise Business Services (EBS) at Walmart Global Tech delivers efficient service operations and technology solutions across Finance, People, and Associate Digital Experience. The team supports critical business functions using Service Now and advanced engineering capabilities. What you'll do: - Lead large, cross‑functional programs across business units and geographies, defining vision, success metrics, and execution strategies.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and product teams to ensure Service Now HR solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
- Engage and influence senior leaders across People Services, Tech, and the business, clearly communicating progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Provide technical oversight for planning, integration, and enhancement of Service Now HR capabilities.
- Mentor Staff TPMs and team members to promote excellence and innovation.
- Anticipate risks, drive change management, and ensure smooth adoption.
- Maintain operational rigor through best‑practice tracking and documentation tools.
What you'll bring: - 10+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale HR technology programs, preferably within Walmart or similarly complex environments
- Expert-level proficiency in Service Now domain.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of influencing across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of program management tools and methodologies (Agile, SAFe, etc.).
- Demonstrated success in mentoring senior-level TPMs and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Growth mindset, with a passion for innovation, simplification, and delivering measurable business impact.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
