As a Tax Technology Associate, you'll play a key role in enhancing tax operations through the use of technology. This is an exciting opportunity to drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes.

This role plays a vital part in enhancing operational efficiency and enabling Walmart to meet its complex tax obligations at scale.
- What you'll do...
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for tax technology solutions.
- Leverage tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL to analyze large datasets and identify opportunities to streamline tax processes.
- Support the implementation and optimization of tax software applications to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate tax technology performance, recommending enhancements to improve accuracy, scalability, and user experience.
What you'll bring:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a tax technology or similar role
- Hands-on experience using Vertex, One Source, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL to support and enhance tax operations
- A detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and curiosity to drive continuous improvement

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
