Position Summary...

This highly influential leadership role serves as the executive communications lead for Walmart International - a diverse portfolio of markets across the globe. You will guide a cohesive executive and internal communications strategy for senior leaders and serve as lead speechwriter to the President and CEO of Walmart International.

This role is critical in shaping how strategy, performance, and priorities are communicated across markets - driving global alignment, associate engagement, and executive visibility. You will also lead content strategy for high-profile internal and external events and leverage insights and data to strengthen the relevance and impact of communications worldwide.

You’ll lead a high-performing team and partner cross-functionally across the enterprise and international markets to bring Walmart International’s strategy and purpose to life across cultures and geographies.

What you'll do...

• Serve as a strategic communications counselor to the President and CEO of Walmart International and partner closely with the VP, Walmart International Communications.
• Lead executive communications strategy for senior leadership, ensuring aligned but distinct voices that reinforce business priorities and reputation.
• Drive internal communications that connect global associates to strategy, performance, transformation initiatives, and culture.
• Develop speeches, presentations, talking points, video scripts, and digital content for internal and external audiences.
• Shape content strategy for major global events, including town halls, leadership summits, associate broadcasts, and external engagements.
• Partner with market communications teams to ensure enterprise alignment with regional relevance.
• Leverage data, insights, and associate feedback to continuously improve engagement and impact.
• Coach senior leaders for global speaking engagements and high-profile forums.
• Lead and develop an agile communications team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
• Utilize technology tools, including GenAI, to enhance reach, personalization, and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring - Extensive experience leading executive and internal communications in a complex, multinational organization.

• Exceptional speechwriting expertise, ideally supporting CEOs or senior global leaders.
• Strong leadership presence with proven ability to coach senior executives.
• Ability to translate complex global business strategies into clear, compelling communications for diverse audiences.
• Experience in retail, e Commerce, or technology environments.
• Deep understanding of cross-cultural communications and global stakeholder dynamics.
• Strategic planning and project management excellence in matrixed organizations.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
