You will work within the VCS EU SMB Market Solutions Sales Specialists team, focusing on Central Europe (CE) Cluster. Your key remit is to be the Small and Medium Business (SMB) Sales Specialists for CE, working closely with the CE Cluster team as well as the broader VCS organisation. You will be responsible to drive SMB growth within the cluster. You may be expected to attend and represent Visa at industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Own the localisation and execution of the cluster’s SMB strategy and GTM, partnering with key stakeholders including Head of BD, Account teams, and VCS HUB teams.
- Lead SMB sales activities with existing clients, supporting AEs, including:Identifying new sales opportunities to ‘grow’ Visa’s SMB solutions
- Designing new client propositions or enhancements to existing propositions, including bringing together a ‘One Visa’ solution for SMBs
- Cross-sell/ up-sell Visa SMB solutions incl. value added services relevant to SMB segment
- Work with client AEs and VCA to drive growth of SMB card portfolios for existing clients, covering client performance, activation, optimisation and migration
- Develop SMB component of key client account plans and Visa strategic planning sessions
- Support BDs on new SMB client opportunities, including:Designing client propositions/ proposals
- Acting as an SMB subject matter expert in new client meetings
- Identifying SMB whitespace, sales acceleration opportunities and maintaining an up-to-date view of SMB pipeline shape
- Contribute to the overarching European SMB solution roadmap by continuously reviewing market intelligence client feedback and competitive landscapes
- Ensure market and client readiness / fit when new Visa solutions are launched, and support the localisation of sales collateral and GTM
- Be part of the cluster’s SMB ecosystem, identifying key potential clients, enablers, influencers and partnership opportunities
- Partner with Visa marketing and consulting teams to develop and deliver internal and external education and marketing campaigns to build Visa’s SMB brand
- Take accountability for delivery of assigned initiatives, sales revenue and performance indicators
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
- The successful applicant will have experience in SMB payments or SMB banking sales, innovation or propositions/product roles
- Excellent knowledge of SMB payments and global payment systems
- Strong understanding of the issues and challenges for small businesses
- Talent for story telling and bringing people into a journey
- Excellent relationship skills and credibility to work with internal and external peers and more senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a complex multicultural matrix environment and ability to work through change
- A strong degree of self-direction and accountability with focus on delivery
- High orientation towards teamwork, good attitude towards cross functional working
- Fluency in German and in English with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
