Job Description
The Acceptance Solutions Analyst will support the execution of Visa’s Acceptance Solutions strategy across the Andean region. This role provides analytical, operational, and commercial support for initiatives focused on scaling Visa’s acceptance capabilities and Value-Added Services (VAS) across merchants, Payfacs, acquirers, and strategic partners.
The analyst will collaborate closely with Sales Managers, Product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to help drive business growth, strengthen client engagement, and ensure effective implementation of acceptance-related projects.
Responsibilities:
Commercial & Business Support:
- Support the execution of Visa’s Acceptance Solutions business plan for card-present and card-not-present channels in the Andean region.
- Assist in opportunity identification through market analysis, client research, and segmentation.
- Help manage and maintain the sales pipeline, preparing updates and CRM entries to track progress against targets.
Data & Performance Analytics:
- Monitor performance metrics related to acceptance solutions adoption, revenue trends, and client activity.
- Produce dashboards, performance reports, and insights to support decision-making across the sales and product teams.
- Support the development of business cases and financial models at a foundational level.
Client Engagement & Coordination:
- Support the preparation of client-facing materials, including presentations, proposals, demos, and business summaries.
- Assist in coordinating follow-ups with merchants, Payfacs, resellers, and partners across the Andean markets.
- Provide support in the assembly and submission of RFP/RFI documentation.
Operational Execution:
- Support the implementation of acceptance initiatives by coordinating with Product, Technology, Finance, Risk, and Operations teams.
- Track implementation timelines, identify blockers, and report status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive and industry research, monitoring trends and identifying opportunities for improvement or innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Visa’s Product Management teams to maintain a solid understanding of Visa’s acceptance-related products and technical capabilities.
- Participate in internal meetings to support strategic planning and execution across local, regional, and global teams.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience in payments, financial services, business analysis, product support, consulting, or related roles.
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical skills and experience with data tools (Excel, Power BI, data visualization platforms).
Ability to translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Understanding of the payments ecosystem, e Commerce, merchants, or acceptance solutions (a plus).
Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Experience with CRM tools, presentation tools (PowerPoint), and collaboration platforms.
