Job Description

What a Senior Manager Product Mongolia, does at Visa:

  • The Senior Manager, Product

  • Mongolia will report to Head of Product, Korea & Mongolia and Country Manager, Mongolia.

  • Lead development of the Mongolia consumer & digital solutions product strategy including but not limited to consumer value proposition, digital product adoption, product value added services, product rules, pricing, infrastructure capabilities and thought leadership materials

  • Lead and manage development of market insights and product intelligence for Mongolia

  • Identify and assess opportunities to drive Visa’s digital solutions such as agentic commerce, stablecoins and X Pays and develop the best solutioning for clients

  • Drive the growth of Core product portfolios (Consumer Credit, Debit) with emphasis on Affluent, mass and Millennials segments.

  • Lead as a subject matter expert in overall product/ portfolio strategy including new product development, digital product adoption and management, cardholder loyalty, and cross-border spending to ensure timely delivery of ideas and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

  • Build strong working relationships with issuers and partners to ensure a high level of satisfaction with product platform and project implementation which ultimately leads to new issuance mandates as well as net increase in number of credentials

  • Lead development of Go-To-Market plans for Visa’s various consumer / digital related capabilities to clients in Mongolia

  • Work closely with Global/Market Support Center Product Teams to develop new value propositions for prioritized consumer segments

  • Work closely with Sales and functional teams on key strategic initiatives that drive growth of consumer portfolios and revenues

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Bachelor degree with at least 10+ years of payments industry and progressively responsible business experience

  • Extensive experience in solutioning and deploying digital solutions

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing and launching new card / payments products

  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills with a keen eye for data extraction, manipulation and insight development with limited data

  • Be a leader, self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to influence and communicate effectively

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills, and proven ability to influence and communicate effectively

What will also help:

  • Preferably work experience in digital/retail banking, multinational companies, consulting or fintech with a proven track record of executing projects for high-performing cross-functional teams and navigating through complicated organizational structure

  • Advanced knowledge about the Mongolia payments landscape, emerging players, business models, and trends

  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

  • Comfortable in working independently while managing competing priorities to achieve desired end state
