  • Identify new opportunities and underpenetrated segments for growth, fostering collaboration to expand acceptance locations and drive both domestic and cross-border segments.
  • Ensure in-market acceptance fund goals are met in a cost-effective and timely manner, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Provide insights and input to cross-functional teams regarding new and evolving products and services that may impact clients, including Visa rules, compliance, integrated billings, and transactions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of local market needs, collaborating with the SMT cluster and Singapore Hub to define and execute market-specific strategies that address acceptance issues and meet client requirements in Malaysia.
  • Manage contractual obligations, ensuring optimal utilization of VIK and alignment with both client and Visa business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in financial services, payments, or enterprise sales, with a proven record of successfully managing client relationships.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategic plans that drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong track record in solution and consultative selling, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver tailored solutions that address client needs.
  • Proven negotiation skills, with hands-on experience in deal structuring, deal making, and closing complex agreements.
  • In-depth understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant partnerships and digital commerce.
  • Track record of designing and implementing client-centric strategies that address both external market complexities and internal requirements.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions for clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels, including executives.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in dynamic environments.
