Job Description
As a QA Functional Analyst, you will be part of a team that is responsible for testing and validating the quality of Visa's advanced transfer applications and platform. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure that the products meet the functional, performance, and security requirements. You will also contribute to the test automation framework and tools and participate in the continuous improvement of the testing processes and best practices.

What we are looking for:
The QA Functional Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing the tests of our advanced transfer applications and platform.
You will need to learn and understand our products at a detailed level and work with the team (primarily made up of developers, product managers, and other QA engineers) to ship high-quality products or features every two weeks.

- Ability to hold others (e.g., QA, Product, Development, Infrastructure, etc.) accountable for what is expected of them as per agreed plan, process, or best practices.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in functional testing
- Fluent English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in functional testing
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and decision-making abilities.
- Capability to communicate ideas and plans clearly and build support.
- Adaptability to deal with the unknown and adjust plans accordingly.
- Strong accountability for individual and team outcomes.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and other defect tracking tools.
- Knowledge and experience using tools like Newman and Zephyr for test case execution.
- Knowledge and experience in backend testing.
- Certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB, are a plus.
- Ability to hold others (e.g., QA, Product, Development, Infrastructure, etc.) accountable for what is expected of them as per agreed plan, process, or best practices.
- Familiarity of cloud platforms and services such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Preferred).
- Experience using Postman for API testing (Mandatory)
- Experience with JIRA, SQL, Postman, Zephyr, git, GCP
