Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead market execution of Affluent initiatives, including the launch of Affluent products (i.e. Visa Signature, Visa Infinite), ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic priorities across Vietnam and Laos.
- Own business performance for Affluent portfolio (debit and credit), actively tracking market trends, market dynamics, and competitive movements to optimize strategy and ensure impact on P&L.
- Develop and maintain thought leadership on Affluent trends affecting Vietnam, translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Support product expansion on upcoming new Affluent product tier(s)
- Collaborate with Visa’s Market Support Center in Singapore to align on regional client initiatives and ensure seamless execution of in-market programs.
- Engage cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Strategy, VAS, Marketing, and Advisory to drive integrated execution and ensure strategic alignment across all workstreams.
- Partner with analytics and research teams to generate Affluent insights and ensure corridor strategies remain data-driven, relevant, and responsive to market shifts.
- Monitor performance and manage investments, tracking KPIs, managing budgets, and leading quarterly reviews to ensure delivery of forecasted outcomes and continuous optimization.
- Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio management, including acquisition, activation, usage and retention, to help issuers identify new segment opportunities and develop product value proposition strategies
- Work with issuers in the ongoing evaluation, management, synthesis and development of product line strategies, including new product platform launches
- Identify, prioritize and develop product, platform, market and/or service innovations to protect and grow existing revenue streams and to grow new revenues for assigned products
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of experience in the retail bank/financial services businesses coupled with at least 2 years’ experience in developing and launching new transactional banking services, debit/ credit/prepaid cards, e-payment services and other digital products/services in a financial institution or fintech.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
- Ability to identify potential opportunities, develop strategic plans and manage the teams needed to bring them to fruition
- Excellent negotiation skills for business agreements and managing relationships and high level of curiosity to learn Visa products and services
- Hands-on approach to directly managing clients’ counterpart & internal Visa stakeholders, directly working on required tasks
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and professionalism with demonstrated problem-solving skills and strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Vietnamese
- Flexibility to business travel for Client meetings (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Laos)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and data analysis for business planning
