Job Description

Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa's clients, including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The VCA team within Korea provides a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients in Korea, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management and digital strategy.

What a Client Consulting Director at Visa:

We're hiring a Director with strategy consulting and digital project leadership experience, especially in AI and technology advisory. You'll manage projects, guide clients in the payments industry, and coordinate with teams and partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital and technology-focused strategies for clients, including AI, blockchain, and emerging technologies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted strategic advisor to C-level stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new consulting opportunities, leveraging industry insights and best practices.
  • Analyze and refine business cases, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing strategic impact.

Digital Project Leadership:

  • Oversee the delivery of complex digital/technology projects, from strategy through implementation
  • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of consultants, technologists, and external partners to deliver results.
  • Develop and present compelling materials, proposals, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure effective project governance, risk management, and issue resolution.

Qualifications

What you will need:

We seek an experienced, results-driven, and client-centric professional with a strong interest in the payments industry. Ideal candidates should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier institution with 10+ years of work experience after completing your degree,
  • Work experience as a PM in top management consulting firms is a must/
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital transformation, including hands-on leadership of large-scale digital projects (technology, digital strategy, or digital program management).
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from concept to implementation.
  • Collaborative team player with a global mindset and ability to work with diverse teams.

What will also help:

  • Experience in customer experience design (human-centered design/design thinking).
  • Deep understanding of the payments industry or financial services sector.
