Team Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Job Description

  • Build strong, ethical relationships with clients, including B2B, SMBs, Agribusiness, and Government.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leading consulting projects and identifying opportunities across these segments.
  • Address client pain points and deliver actionable plans to drive growth and engagement in B2B, SMBs, Agro, and Government.
  • Generate insights and recommendations to improve client performance and profitability in these markets.
  • Collaborate with Visa teams to leverage innovation, product, and data for clients in B2B, SMBs, Agribusiness, and Government.
  • Analyze data to support decision-making and strategy for clients in these segments.
  • Demonstrate leadership and manage multiple projects in a matrixed environment.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Passionate, self-motivated, result-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, and marketing initiatives, with proven experience in B2B, SMBs, LMM, Agribusiness, and Government segments.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor, especially for B2B, SMBs, Agro, and Government clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Executive presence includes excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal skills, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in several key payments business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards, with exposure to B2B, SMBs, Agribusiness, and Government.
  • Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance with a significant focus on impacting return on investment.
  • Ideal candidate will have payments and consulting experience, with a track record of success in B2B, SMBs, Agribusiness, and Government markets.
