Job Description
The Sr. Director, Head of Solutions for LAC Acceptance Solutions sits within Visa’s Value-Added Services organization and reports to the SVP of LAC Value-Added Services, with a dotted-line to the SVP of Global Acceptance Solutions.
This role owns the P&L for LAC Acceptance Solutions and is accountable for delivering incremental revenue through the Visa Acceptance Platform and Acceptance Network Products.
The Sr. Director drives regional strategy, influences global product and technology roadmaps, and leads strategic technology partnerships to accelerate adoption. By converting market and client insights into actionable priorities, this leader ensures innovation translates into scalable solutions that deliver measurable commercial impact across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the P&L for LAC Acceptance Solutions; deliver incremental revenue through platform adoption and network product penetration.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Client Services to accelerate adoption and scale revenue impact.
- Own the regional product roadmap on all acceptance solutions portfolios: payment processing, payer interfaces, secure credentials, authentication, acceptance risk, post purchase solutions and acceptance network solutions.
- Define and execute regional strategy aligned with global priorities; advocate for LAC needs in global forums.
- Lead and develop a team of four regional product owners; set priorities, coach for impact, and scale talent.
- Influence global product and technology roadmaps through strategic engagement with Global Acceptance Solutions leaders.
- Actively engage markets and clients to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into prioritized product evolution.
- Own technology partner engagement strategy; negotiate influence and align roadmaps to accelerate adoption.
- Represent Visa in client and prospect interactions to position Acceptance Solutions as a growth enabler.
- Govern performance through KPI's tied to revenue growth, adoption, and operational excellence.
- Champion innovation by identifying new opportunities and converting them into scalable solutions.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience in payments or related technology/financial services field, with a bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
Travel- This position will have approx. 15-20% travel

- Demonstrated ability to lead regional P&L and deliver measurable revenue growth through platform adoption and strategic partnerships.
- Executive-level communication and influencing skills; proven ability to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with deep understanding of regional market trends and ability to convert insights into growth strategies.
- Track record of driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Client Services, Product, and Technology to achieve commercial objectives.
- Experience shaping global product roadmaps based on regional priorities and client feedback.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, set clear priorities, and lead change programs across complex, matrixed organizations.
- Vision and drive to position Acceptance Solutions as a growth enabler in competitive markets.
- Strong relationship-building skills across functions, levels, and geographies; ability to represent Visa in client and industry forums.
- Expertise in payments ecosystem, platform technologies, and partner dynamics.
- Multilingual fluency: English and Spanish required; Portuguese desirable.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 194,700.00 to 340,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
