Job Description

Team Summary:

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

Within VCA we have a dedicated service line, VCA Implementation Services (VIS) with specialized experts who are routinely embedded into clients offer hands-on execution support. From our collective experience we have amassed an extensive set of best practices we leverage to help partners manage customer relationships, portfolio levers and product development.

What a Senior Client Consulting Manager, VIS Technology Implementation does at Visa:

We are seeking a Senior Client Consulting Manager, Technology Implementation to lead technology and digital transformation engagements, using innovation as a catalyst for business improvement and growth. This leader will oversee initiatives that solve critical business challenges and unlock new opportunities through IT‑driven solutions. The role requires a versatile strategist and project manager capable of guiding teams, managing complex programs, and delivering high‑impact outcomes aligned with client priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic discussions with the client to identify critical business challenges and opportunities in technology innovation, propose actionable solutions, and define priorities and timelines.
  • Develop methodologies, frameworks and approaches to evaluate Clients’ digital and AI status, envision priority transformational state and design implementation roadmaps.
  • Drive AI and Cloud powered business growth initiatives to idea, propose, and implement strategies that increment topline performance for the payment business as well as broader group business opportunities.
  • Manage client inquiries regarding relevant operation and system, including planning, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead client engagement activities such as proposal development, contracting, stakeholder alignment, and fact-based analysis to support actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with global hubs, functional experts and solution providers to bring specialized knowledge and Visa capabilities into engagements.
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to executive level client stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights.

Business Development

  • Build, maintain, and evolve the technology implementation project pipeline, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Help scale digital practice through augmentation, standardization and streamlining.
  • Develop data driven insights to inform and guide digital practice decisions.
  • Anticipate Clients’ needs by continuously researching and testing concepts of emerging digital capabilities and ensure inclusion in projects

Why this is important to Visa:

This role will support VCA Implementation Services. The role will help to develop our implementation capabilities in the consumer space which will become a template for our expansion in Korea and across Asia Pacific. In addition, the successful candidate will participate in identifying and solving client challenges to support their portfolio growth. In turn this will support Visa’s ambition of diversifying our revenue.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

What you will need:

8+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or digital technology

Proven track record of leading digital transformation projects from strategy through execution

Proven track record of digital technology business development

Familiarity with platforms and technologies including AI, Cloud or SAP

Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up to date with latest market and industry innovation trends

Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and PM frameworks

Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor

Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations

Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities

Ability to collaborate with internal and external technology solution partners

Budget management and reporting

Business level English proficiency

What will also help:

Experience in leading PI/ISP projects

Experience in CMS system implementation projects

Experience in digital solution architecture in AI and cloud

Good understanding of Visa and payment eco-system
