Job Description

Visa’s Technology Organization is a community of problem solvers and innovators reshaping the future of commerce. The Opportunity:

We are looking for a versatile, curious, and energetic Site Reliability Engineer who embraces solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Site Reliability Engineer, you will be an integral part of a DevOps team, responsible for both Operations and Development, with a 70/30 split between the two. You will work within a multi-functional team.

The Work Itself:

• Monitor processing systems.
• Ensure timely execution, delivery, and availability.
• Detect and resolve problems.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Set audits and alerts to detect issues.
• Facilitate maintenance activities.
• Plan and execute changes as per instructions.
• Run problem bridges (incident calls/meetings).
• Strictly adhere to processes and guidelines.
• Build automation solutions.

• Adapting fast to new application knowledge and changes

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: -

• Bachelor's degree, OR 1-2 years of relevant work experience(2024/25 Passout)

Preferred Qualifications: -

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree with good coding skills
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including, but not limited, to Python, Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, Javascript, HTML, CSS and Objective-C.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
• Result oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Highly driven and resourceful
• Strong ability to collaborate
