Led by Visa’s Chief Data Officer, the Global Data Office coordinates high-impact, complex, company-wide projects related to data business strategy, critical investments, policy development, and marketplace execution. Working closely with Visa’s Chief Privacy Officer, the Technology organization, Government Solutions, the wider data community, and the full set of Visa’s global lines of business, the Global Data Office is evolving Visa’s data and AI-related work with momentum and enthusiasm. Visa is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager that will drive product innovation and growth for our Government & Merchant Data Products Portfolio. This role is focused on building data-centric products that deliver actionable insights, recommendations, and measurable business impact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead product strategy, development, and commercialization efforts for new and existing Data products. The role requires technical and strategic product skills with a background in Merchant data products a plus. The team values product managers that Act like an Owner & Execute with Excellence.

  • Lead the full product lifecycle for data products, from concept to launch, with a focus on leveraging AI and advanced analytics to deliver insights and recommendations
  • Engage clients and partners to capture requirements, validate use cases, and drive adoption
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and AI teams to design and deliver innovative solutions
  • Monitor product performance metrics, ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards, and drive continuous optimization
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Support go-to-market activities, including pricing, positioning, and product messaging for data and AI-powered solutions

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience working directly with merchants or merchant data products
  • Demonstrated success in building and launching new data or AI-powered products
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with data-driven, fintech, or payments products
  • Technical background (e.g., experience with data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML technologies)
  • Strong understanding of data product management, including insights generation, recommendations engines, and data visualization
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, SQL), and AI/ML frameworks
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products from concept to launch
  • Experience in Agile environments and tools such as JIRA

Additional Information

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $169,100 to $270,800 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
