Job Description

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), the consulting arm of Visa, is a global team of industry experts in strategy, marketing, operations, risk and economics consulting, with decades of experience in the payments industry. Our VCA teams offers:

  • Consulting services customized to the needs of Visa client’s business objectives and strategy
  • Business and economic insights and perspectives that impact business and investment decisions
  • Self-service digital solutions Visa clients can leverage to improve performance in product, marketing and operations

The Data Service and Solution (DSS) team is Visa’s engine for data-driven innovation and monetization in Latin America and Caribbean countries. We commercialize Visa’s most advanced data capabilities—including AI-powered solutions—across verticals such as retail, travel, and media. As trusted partners to our clients and colleagues, we collaborate with global product teams, regional sales, legal, compliance, and leading external partners to bring transformative data solutions to market. Our mandate: deliver measurable impact, unlock new revenue streams, and position Visa as the partner of choice in data-led growth.

As Sales Director, Data Service and Solution (DSS), you will be responsible for owning the go-to-market strategy, driving pipeline growth, and delivering revenue from Visa’s suite of data and AI solutions across LAC. You will lead end-to-end sales cycles, cultivate C-level relationships, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape Visa’s leadership in data monetization. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales executive with deep expertise in data-driven solutions, a strong commercial acumen, and a passion for enabling clients’ digital transformation journeys. You will spearhead the commercialization of payments data across demand and supply side platforms, forging strategic partnerships with agencies, ad tech players, and external data providers to maximize audience monetization and data-driven growth. Your expertise in structuring complex deals and integrating diverse data assets will be critical in delivering innovative solutions and unlocking new revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities for Visa Data Service and Solutions (DSS) in VCA LAC, focusing on building a strong pipeline and delivering revenue growth.
  • Conduct consultative sales engagements to understand client needs, present DSS capabilities, and deliver tailored solutions that drive client business outcomes.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

Partnerships & Market Development:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with technology platforms, data resellers, and other relevant ecosystem players to scale Visa DSS business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Gather market insights and client feedback to help inform go-to-market strategy and product enhancements.

Representation & Thought Leadership:

  • Represent Visa at industry and client forums, positioning Visa as a leader in data and AI-driven commerce and building awareness of DSS capabilities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise sales experience in data commercialization, analytics, or SaaS-driven solutions, with a strong record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Demonstrated success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and managing senior client relationships.

Experience in or selling to marketing agencies, adtech platforms, or other data-driven organizations in LAC markets

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with proven ability to influence senior executives.

Experience working in matrixed, global organizations is a plus.

Bachelor degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
