Job Description

Purpose:

Lead strategic initiatives to strengthen Visa’s position in Brazil by managing high-value client relationships and driving sustainable growth in electronic payments. This role will influence market strategies, deliver profitable revenue streams, and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.

Principal Responsibilities / Key Results Areas:

Client Partnership & Business Growth:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand Visa’s market share and POS volume across corporate and institutional clients.
  • Serve as a strategic consultant to clients, aligning Visa solutions with their growth objectives.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new business opportunities and implementing tailored solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze client performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate and influence decision-making at senior levels to maximize client profitability and strengthen partnerships.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Lead complex projects in collaboration with Products, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other internal teams.
  • Ensure seamless execution of initiatives by providing strategic direction and resolving escalated issues.
  • Champion cross-functional alignment to deliver superior client experiences and operational excellence.

Strategic Nature, Management Accountability & Scope:

  • Own the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic plans for key clients.
  • Ensure alignment with Visa’s regional and global objectives, driving innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Act as a thought leader, shaping market strategies and influencing internal priorities.

Decision-Making & Complexity:

  • Make high-impact decisions based on market intelligence and client insights.
  • Navigate complex negotiations and resolve challenges that require cross-functional collaboration and strategic judgment.

Financial & Organizational Scope:

  • Accountable for client P&L across all product lines.
  • Manage budgets, forecast revenue growth, and deliver against aggressive business targets.
  • Identify and secure new revenue streams through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

Reporting Relationships & Interactions:

  • Engage with senior executives across Visa and client organizations.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership teams and global stakeholders to influence strategic priorities.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Experience: 8+ years in business development, client management, or strategic consulting within the financial services or payments industry.

Skills: Proven track record in driving revenue growth, managing P&L, and leading cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred Experience:

Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.

Expertise in electronic payments and digital commerce.

Strong executive presence and ability to engage C-level stakeholders.

Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
