We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Pismo product organization and help define, build, and scale cloud‑native banking and payments capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, commercial teams, Visa partners, and external clients, translating complex customer and market needs into clear product strategy and execution.
You will own product discovery and delivery for one or more Pismo platform capabilities (e.g., card issuing, core banking, APIs, or integrations), ensuring they deliver measurable value for clients while aligning with Visa’s broader payments ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for key Pismo platform capabilities, from concept through launch and iteration.
- Translate customer, partner, and market needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud‑native products.
- Collaborate with commercial, client‑facing, and Visa stakeholder teams to ensure products meet customer needs and support go‑to‑market objectives.
- Drive prioritization decisions by balancing customer impact, technical complexity, regulatory considerations, and business value.
- Partner with architecture, security, and compliance teams to ensure products meet global banking and payments requirements.
- Use data, customer feedback, and market signals to continuously improve product performance and client outcomes.
- Communicate product strategy, trade‑offs, and progress clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 6 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of proven experience in the Payments or Fin Tech sector.
- Background as an Architect or Developer with a strong track record in building products using Java technologies, APIs (SOAP & REST), and Web & Mobile development.
- Familiarity with global payment standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022 (MX), MT, SEPA, Fedwire, CHAPS, UPI, and similar protocols.
- Hands-on experience with cross-border payment solutions is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating product roadmaps, writing user stories, grooming backlogs, and managing priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities.
- Strong technical acumen coupled with a genuine passion for product ownership.
- Is proactive and operates with a sense of urgency and 'can do' attitude.
