Job Description
As the Marketing Services Senior Manager for New Zealand and the Pacific, you will report to the Senior Director – Marketing Services for the AuNZPI cluster and provide support in achieving the revenue and profitability targets of New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and responsible for development and execution of growth strategies of the Marketing Services business.
In this role you will be leading on account planning and delivery of revenue and margin of clients based in New Zealand and the Pacific region, and at times contribute to the support of boarder multi-market initiatives. You will be working closely with other business stakeholders such as Country Managers, Account Executives and Visa Consulting to identify business opportunities, develop revenue and margin growth opportunities to meet business and client priorities.
You will be required to collaborate with the global and regional Marketing Services community to help in developing business growth strategies, client and RFP responses. You will also be responsible for aiding the Senior Director of Marketing Services in the quarterly business reviews and annual growth strategy exercises (MSO and AOP).
Success in this role will be measured through revenue and contribution margin attainment, as well as, forecast accuracy and stakeholder feedback.

- Achieve the revenue and margin growth expectations of New Zealand and Pacific Region.
- Work closely with Account Executives and Visa Consulting to develop key account plans.
- Diversify revenue streams beyond sponsorships and offering broader marketing services solutions, delivering more end-to-end campaign delivery.
- Ensure a forecast/outlook accuracy of over 90% on revenue delivery and margin attainment quarterly.
- Ensure all projects are logged into the client management platform.
- Participate, deliver and present Marketing Services solutions during client presentations.
- Work closely with core marketing teams, the agency eco-system and subject matter experts in the Market Support Center to deliver and execute client projects.
- Work closely with the Visa Consulting team to ensure that there is strong collaboration between both teams to maximize client outcomes.
- Drive awareness of Marketing Services capabilities to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support the Senior Director of Marketing Services on all financial and business planning and operations.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Bachelor Degree or Business/Marketing/related diploma with marketing foundation.
- 8+ years’ of relevant work experience in marketing and business development, working closely with client partners.
- Well-rounded marketing experience working in both B2B and B2C environments preferred.
- Audience-focused mindset, with a demonstrated track record of discovering key insights.
- Strong executive presence with highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven, matrixed environment. Must have strong project/program management skills to successfully manage multiple, concurrent campaigns and work streams.
- Client-centric approach – builds trusted stakeholder relationships and outcomes.
- Commercially minded – comfortable with financials, forecasting and results analytics reporting.
- Strong communication and presence. Ability to influence internal & external stakeholders of various levels and abilities, including executives.
- A fast learner and problem solver with ability to partner and navigate through multiple disciplines and organisational groups.
- Demonstrated team player who is flexible and nimble, with excellent time and self-management skills.
- A track record of planning and managing marketing initiative launches and managing agency/3rd party vendors.

- A passion for technology innovation, loyalty, ecommerce and the payment space.
