Vanguard’s Personal Investor Distribution Strategy & Enablement function serves as a linchpin for growth by delivering core distribution strategies, capabilities, and regulatory guidance that enable Vanguard to acquire, retain, and deepen relationships with clients. As the head of Crossover/Rollover Distribution Strategy, you will work closely with senior leaders and business partners to ensure success of the business by:

Partnering closely to drive our overarching strategy; evaluate opportunities for growth through analysis of industry trends, competitor strategies, internal dynamics, and consumer needs/preferences.

Leading the development and implementation of a focused crossover/rollover experience.

Influencing and managing the cross-divisional human channel strategy, partnering with stakeholders to source and prioritize lead opportunities.

Overseeing Crossover/Rollover reporting and governance for Personal Investor; serve as Distribution’s subject matter expert for all things Crossover/Rollover.

Core Responsibilities:

Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

Oversees business strategic planning and presents insights derived from analysis and synthesis of the team. Manages internal business relationships to ensure that service expectations are managed and met.

Manages the individual client business strategy team and assigns required resources to conduct strategic competitive, and product analyses.

Synthesizes analyses, key findings, and potential solutions into actionable recommendations. Prepares and presents strategic analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior management, including presentations, whitepapers, etc. Reviews materials from direct reports and coaches them in effective presentation and consultation with the most senior leadership in the business.

Interprets and analyzes data of high complexity using business acumen in order to derive key insights. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, organizes, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight for the business.

Stays abreast of industry, market, and competitive trends. Recommends new and enhanced capabilities and services. Partners with senior business leaders to understand key concerns and opportunities for the business.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of eight years related work experience. Prior experience in strategy consulting and financial analysis preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays – Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from our offices in Malvern PA, Charlotte NC, or Scottsdale, AZ. Relocation assistance is available for this role.
