Advice and Wealth Management Technology is seeking a leader to oversee a Data & Analytics engineering team, driving innovation in scalable, personalized financial advice through data infrastructure, machine learning, and engineering excellence. The role involves leading a team, managing projects, and collaborating across divisions to deliver high-quality, cost-effective advice products.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of data engineers to deliver high quality, robust, configurable, and extensible technical solutions.
- Collaborate across the AWMT D&A teams to deliver outcomes that enable hyper-personalization at scale, analytics everywhere, data as differentiator.
- Establish and oversee processes, procedures and a mindset focused on engineering excellence.
- Contribute to an engineering organization & culture focused on Data Ops, Fin Ops, and MLOps.
- Build an environment where crew can thrive, including focusing on developing a broad set of technical skills, continually creating growth opportunities, and cultivating an energizing and mission-orientated team culture.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize work and deliver valuable outcomes.
- Identify, own and drive the implementation of D&A engineering and/or infrastructure initiatives.
- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Manages crew and project activities for technology-related projects. Drives all phases of the project lifecycle from inception through implementation while ensuring that business objectives are delivered with high quality and within targeted timeframes.
- Oversees all project-level communication and change management activities in support of all project workstreams. Triages capacity, complexity, and scope of project messaging and delivery of all communications.
- Builds and maintains relationships across sub-divisions and both internal and external partners to support project initiatives. Develops strong relationships with project leadership and workstream leads. Influences key decisions across stakeholders.
- Assists team with the identification, evaluation, and resolution of potential obstacles which may have an impact on the completion of technology projects or communications. Elevates items of high concern to senior management, focusing on recommended courses of action.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- D&A engineering and/or infrastructure required.
- People leadership experience preferred.
- AWS (glue, Lamda, S3, etc)
- Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or technical experience preferred. Previous people-leadership experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred.
