This role focuses on delivering impactful retirement education while strengthening relationships with participants and plan sponsors. It requires strong, presentation, client‑facing skills, the ability to tailor education using deep knowledge of Vanguard solutions and the financial services landscape, and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement. Success involves leveraging insights to enhance service delivery, spotting opportunities for greater engagement, and supporting broader departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Presents investment and retirement meetings that are designed to influence and Presents investment, financial wellness and retirement meetings that are designed to influence and motivate retirement plan participants.

Delivers professional consultations focused on participants' needs and increasing Vanguard assets through interactions with plan sponsors and participants

Maximizes ongoing relationships by assessing client's needs through strategic planning and consultation with relationship managers and plan sponsors.

Appropriately positions Vanguard services in participant interactions using an education and Vanguard investment methodologies. Exhibits broad knowledge of Vanguard’s Personal Investor solutions when addressing client needs

Leverages participant feedback to make recommendations for future meeting content or to identify broader service and educational opportunities.

Identifies opportunities to improve existing client service models to strengthen and maintain client relationships.

Develops and maintains knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services. Understands the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clients. Analyzes department and industry changes and their impact on client service operations.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Masters degree or professional designations (i.e. CFP, ASPA or CEBS) preferred.

Minimum three years financial services/retirement plans work experience.

Demonstrated professional presence and poise.
-
Superior communication skills (oral and written) as well as excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
-
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
-
Effective project management skills.
-
Thorough knowledge of retirement plan industry and ERISA regulations.
-
Series 7 or 6 and Series 63. Series 7 preferred.
-
Thorough knowledge of investments. Knowledge of Vanguard funds a must.

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
