The Team & Opportunity:

Vanguard is seeking a skilled Performance Analyst to join our Investment Performance Analysis & Attribution (PA&A) team in Melbourne. In this role, you will contribute directly to the investment process by delivering accurate, insightful performance analysis to the Investment Management Group (IMG). You will be responsible for resolving complex performance challenges, enhancing attribution models, and driving continuous improvement in performance attribution processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and developing fellow analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Provides guidance to and develops other Performance Analysts in measuring, analyzing, and interpreting the investment performance and technical features of Vanguard's Funds, ETF's, and SMA's.

2. Delivers and oversees delivery of accurate performance analysis, reports and technical requests.

3. Researches and resolves complex performance issues.

4.Develops and leads solutions to complex performance and attribution modelling and process improvements.

1. Develops insightful analysis and commentary to proactively support Product Management and Distribution.

2. Partners with Risk Management Group and Fund Financial Services to ensure an efficient, complimentary and consistent performance & attribution process.

3. Provision of Investment Performance expertise to internal and external clients in projects, presentations, client meetings.

4. Reviews calculation methodologies, researching and updating as required.

5. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Financial Services role
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) or CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) qualified candidates preferred.
