Within GR&S, the Enterprise Security and Fraud**(ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. Director, Corporate Physical Security & Executive Protection Program:

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Oversees individuals engaged in the incident process and handling of enterprise security and fraud investigations. Leads the creation and implementation of systems and processes to prevent, detect, and respond to respond to security or fraud incidents. Reviews recommended security measure and fraud prevention and detection solutions.
  • Ensures Global Security policy and procedures consistent with global standards and practices. Reviews recommendations of new procedures and of outdated procedures to archive.
  • Thoroughly reviews documented case chronology and prepared reports. Reviews reported trends and determines system/policy/procedure changes to mitigate future security gaps.
  • Works closely with business units and stakeholders to recommend and implement fraud prevention and detection measures and controls. Consults with Vanguard business units on fraud prevention, trends and detection/response issues/questions.
  • Oversees adherence to procedural review process. Evaluates security gaps and protection/prevention systems and tools for possible implementation; including being a part of the project team as needed. Analyzes complex situations and identifying practical solutions. Resolves escalated matters.
  • Develops and maintains an established network of internally and externally contacts to gather, exchange, and execute on actionable security and fraud intelligence to best protect Vanguard Crew, information, and client assets
  • Manages enterprise security education, training, and awareness programs. Contributes to the development of handbooks and related material. Directs and conducts department overviews, new hire training and onboarding. Provides guidance, advice, training and mentoring to other members global security and fraud units.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience. Five years of security experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
