Summary

This position offers hands-on experience in key areas such as accounts payable, treasury, corporate, tax, and fund accounting. The intern will work directly with the Regional Finance Controller, supporting accounting processes for our entities in Mexico and Canada, and providing strong support for ETF accounting related to locally listed ETFs.

Main Responsibilities

Facilitate first-line activities for the Regional Finance Controller, primarily in:

• Supporting the management of accounts payable, treasury, general accounting, and taxes.

• Preparing working papers and conducting initial analyses for month-end closes.

• Assisting with corporate accounting for Mexico and Canada.

• Contributing to the preparation of financial statements for Mexico ETFs.

• Participating in the documentation and follow-up of accounting and tax processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the final 2 or 3 semesters of a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Experience with Oracle Cloud is desirable.

• Able to work independently with strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrates a genuine interest in continuous learning and professional development.

• Previous experience in accounting firms is a plus.
