Where all the profits were invested back into the business and used to lower costs. Evidently, it was as bold as it was brilliant. To this day, Vanguard Group still has no external shareholders. This hybrid role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in Melbourne, VIC

• As a Business Systems Analyst
• Mar Tech you will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions that support Vanguard’s strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to lead discovery processes, gather and document requirements, and support the design and implementation of scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and user needs to define system scope and objectives.

• Lead workshops and discovery sessions to gather and refine requirements.

• Translate business needs into functional and technical documentation.

• Collaborate with software engineers and participate in technical design and test planning.

• Drive business process improvement initiatives to enhance operational outcomes.

• Lead the implementation of new systems and software, identifying constraints and recommending solutions.

• Support users during application rollouts and enhancements.

• Guide and mentor less experienced team members.

• Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a technical analyst role.

• Experience within the Mar Tech space and an appreciation of marketing principles.

• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Proven ability to lead workshops and facilitate stakeholder engagement.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.

• Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for solving complex problems.
