About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager who is focused on driving outcomes and thrives in navigating ambiguity within complex, fast paced environments. This role is highly collaborative, requiring strong partnership across peers, workstream leads, and senior stakeholders to deliver integrated results. Responsibilities include ensuring strategic alignment through program level governance, owning the program roadmap, milestones, and cross workstream dependencies, and providing oversight of workstream leads while enforcing common project management and RAIDD standards. The Project Manager will also play a critical role in governing decision making through forums such as the Product Council and Design Authority, ensuring disciplined execution and sustained alignment to program objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end to end project delivery by developing, executing, and maintaining integrated project plans, including scope, schedules, resource allocation, financials, and risk management plans, to ensure successful and timely outcomes.
- Drive strategic alignment and transparency by regularly communicating project plans, progress, risks, and outcomes to Senior Leaders, Project Sponsors, and governance forums through clear, concise, and actionable reporting.
- Partner closely with cross functional stakeholders across Product, Technology, Operations, and impacted business divisions to oversee requirements, define and manage scope, align priorities, and proactively manage expectations.
- Manage integrated schedules and resources to ensure alignment with business objectives, working collaboratively with Product Managers, IT, and Business leads to balance delivery commitments and capacity constraints.
- Identify, assess, and actively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and decisions (RAIDD), driving timely escalation, mitigation strategies, and resolution to minimize delivery impacts.
- Provide oversight and direction to workstream leads, ensuring consistent application of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the program.
- Develop and maintain high quality project management artifacts, including status reports, dashboards, milestone tracking, dependency maps, and executive level summaries to support informed decision making.
- Continuously improve delivery discipline and outcomes by identifying process efficiencies, lessons learned, and opportunities to strengthen program execution within a complex, fast paced transformation environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within financial services, technology, or operations driven environments, delivering initiatives of increasing complexity and visibility.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex, cross functional projects, balancing scope, schedule, risk, and stakeholder expectations to achieve high quality outcomes.
- Strong command of project management methodologies, frameworks, and tools, including Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches, and hands on experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence across diverse stakeholder groups, including Product, Technology, Operations, and senior leadership, with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Comfort operating in fast paced, ambiguous environments, managing multiple priorities and dependencies while maintaining focus on outcomes and delivery commitments.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify risks, evaluate options, and drive solutions in complex scenarios.
- Undergraduate degree required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience; graduate degree preferred.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred but not required.
