TASKS:

  • Lead and support all purchasing activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and supplier selection to final project closure, ensuring all milestones are successfully met
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies in alignment with project and commodity goals to achieve optimal quality, cost, and delivery conditions
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier relationship, including bid-list selection, risk assessment (financial, technical, capacity), and coordinating supplier design and development activities to ensure full compliance with requirements
  • Execute the complete RFQ process, utilizing negotiation and auction tactics to secure the best possible terms and make final sourcing decisions that meet project targets
  • Drive and forecast project purchasing performance, lead productivity initiatives to achieve cost-saving targets, and ensure a smooth and documented transition from the project phase to serial production

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, project purchasing, or commodity buying, preferably within the automotive or a similar manufacturing industry.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical, sourcing & negotiation skills
