Our Santena plant is part of our Brain Division, the market leader in parking and driving assistance components. Valeo Smart Cookpit Italy is specialized in Switches, Human Machine Interface (HMI) control panels and displays. It offers added value in terms of service, flexibility, product know-how and in-depth knowledge of its customers to fully understand their needs and offer them optimal solutions.

As a Purchasing trainee you will support the Purchasing team in daily activities related to the management of suppliers and components sourcing processes. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Purchasing Manager and other team members, contributing to the achievement of the department's objectives. Your tasks will include data analysis, market research, supporting negotiations with suppliers, and helping to implement new purchasing strategies.

The search is open with priority given to profiles belonging to Protected Categories (L. 68/99)

Main Activities

  • Support project award during CAA stage with competitive costs

Voice of segment strategy in the project, and voice of the project to the segments

  • Build up project supplier target panel from pre-SOCO with commodity organization

  • Meet project targets

  • Define and control communication flows between project teams and suppliers

  • Ensure all daily tasks follow internal audit rule ,such as Financial audit and V5000 audit

Desired Skills:

  • Enrollment in a degree course Engineering
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team;
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and principles would be advantageous.
