ITAC Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ITAC Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability and performance of our critical systems, and providing expert technical support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network engineering, server administration, and IT service management.

• Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust network architectures and infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

• Manage and administer servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

• Implement and oversee configuration management processes and tools to ensure consistency and compliance across all IT systems.

• Support and administer cloud computing environments, including deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of cloud-based resources.

• Provide expert technical support and incident resolution for network, server, and infrastructure-related issues.

• Implement and maintain IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, including incident, problem, and change management.

• Participate in the planning, evaluation, and deployment of new information technology infrastructure solutions.

• Conduct regular performance monitoring and capacity planning for network and server environments.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions with business operations.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in IT infrastructure and cloud computing.

• Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in Network Engineering, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

• Strong expertise in Server Administration (Windows Server, Linux/Unix) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Configuration Management (CM) tools and principles.

• In-depth knowledge of Information Technology (IT) Security best practices and principles.

• Demonstrated experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

• Proficiency in managing and optimizing Network Infrastructures.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, VCP, ITIL) are a plus.
