We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.

We are looking for a Software developer with LabVIEW in the Software Tooling Team under CIX (Internal Controls Experience) organization, who will be responsible for the development and testing of reference systems required to validate Valeo functions.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

• Programming in National Instruments LabVIEW

• Development of SW tools and utilities for validation of Driver Monitoring Systems and Internal control Experiences

• Vehicle recording system development

• Hardware in the Loop (HiL) test environment development

• Working with state of the art test systems equipped with FPGAs, embedded controllers and measurement cards

• Development of simulation tools for virtual validation

• Collaboration with teams on other Valeo sites worldwide

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

• Master degree in the field of Software Engineering or Cybernetics or Robotics or related disciplines is an advantage

• Very good knowledge of NI LabVIEW, CLD (Certified LabVIEW Developer) certification as a minimum or proven experience for more than 3 years

• Good knowledge in Linux & Real-Time Systems

• CLA (Certified LabVIEW Architect) certification is a big advantage

• CTD (Certified Test Stand Developer) certification is a big advantage

• Versioning systems experience (SVN, Git, Hg, ...)

• Fluency in (technical) English language (most of the daily communication is in English)

• Personal responsibility and proactive approach to problems

• Ability to travel, approximately 4 weeks in a year altogether

Highly beneficial but not essential would be:

• NI PXI platform experience

• Good knowledge of NI Test Stand & NI Veri Stand

• Lab

VIEW FPGA & LabVIEW Real-Time programming experience:

• Knowledge of text based programming languages: C++, C#, Python

• Experience with test systems development

• Experience with Vector CANoe

• Experience in automotive development is an advantage
