Job Summary:

The Trainee Mantenimiento will support the maintenance team in ensuring the optimal functioning of production machinery and equipment. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to learn and develop practical skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production lines and equipment.
• Learn to identify and diagnose basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Support the installation, calibration, and repair of machinery components.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures rigorously during all maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment status.
• Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training in mechanics, electronics, or industrial maintenance is a strong plus.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical principles.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team.
• Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
• Fluency in Spanish required; basic English is a plus.
