Job Description: APU Qty Trainee

Job Summary:

The APU Qty Trainee will support the Quality team within the Autonomous Production Unit (APU) by assisting in the implementation and monitoring of quality processes to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn fundamental quality control methodologies within a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods according to established procedures and specifications.
• Support the analysis of quality data and assist in preparing reports on quality performance, defects, and non-conformities.
• Participate in problem-solving activities related to quality issues, including root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Learn and apply various quality tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and control plans.
• Help maintain quality documentation and records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist in preparing for and participating in internal and external quality audits.
• Contribute to the implementation of Valeo's quality policies and procedures within the APU.

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is highly desirable.
