Linen Distribution Attendant

Purpose:

Responsible for securing and distributing clean linen throughout the East Campus to all appropriate departments. Monitors linen requirements and is responsible for maintaining a standard of cleanliness in the linen department.

Responsibilities:

• Able to properly load exchange carts.
• Delivers clean linen to all designated departments in a timely manner.
• Maintains work area, equipment, and carts in a clean and orderly manner.
• Practices Infection control standards.
• Performs inventory count.
• Secures quantities of scrub suits for assigned departments.
• Communicates effectively with contract service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Secures soiled linen for pickup.
• Prepares clean linen for delivery to West.
• High school graduate.

Should have the ability to read, speak, and write the English language, and follow oral and written instructions. Previous linen distribution experience preferred. On the job training.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Valid Drivers License with no points.
