About the Role
As Head of Uber Advertising Sales, Canada, you are responsible for building a world-class sales and account management organization that will drive advertising revenue across Delivery Restaurants, Grocery and Retail and Mobility ads products to accelerate Uber's bottom line and topline growth. You will also be responsible for the strategic direction, scaling, and implementation of Uber's Canada Advertising Sales business, with a focus on hyper-growth.
To meet the needs of our ambitions, you will be required to grow and optimize the team's structure, attracting and retaining diverse talent in Ads Sales and Account Management. You will partner with regional and local delivery and mobility leadership to align on business coverage, revenue targets and KPIs. Additionally, this role will require close internal collaboration and alignment with the existing Uber Delivery organization to ensure your team delivers on merchant needs and exceeds Uber's cross-surface revenue and partnership targets.
Based on a deep understanding of advertisers' needs, you will drive revenue by demonstrating the value that our Ads platform will bring to advertisers.
You will be responsible for building and growing C-Level advertising relationships with our restaurant merchants, non-endemic advertisers, and agencies. You'll also serve as the external and internal spokesperson for Uber Ads in Canada.
Working cross-functionally, you will help contribute to the product roadmap by articulating market-specific product needs across Uber Ads surfaces and formats, ensuring we build a best-in-class customer and advertiser experience. To be effective, you will need to build close relationships and tight alignment with operations, sales, strategy, business development, product & engineering, finance, and legal in Canada.
This role will report to the Head of Sales, US&C for Uber Advertising .

What You'll Do

Build and Scale: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing, diverse sales and account management organization designed to exceed aggressive revenue targets.

Navigate Complexity: Partner with regional and local leadership across Delivery and Mobility to align on business coverage, KPIs, and long-range growth plans.

Drive Strategic Partnerships: Build and grow C-level relationships with major merchants and agencies, serving as the primary internal and external spokesperson for Uber Ads in Canada.

Influence the Product: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops teams to articulate market-specific needs, ensuring our ads surfaces and pricing enable advertisers to achieve their goals.

Execute with Urgency: Develop scalable sales collateral and marketing plans in collaboration with Global Partner Solutions to drive market adoption.

Lead Through Influence: Coordinate across functions-including Finance, Legal, and Strategy-to unblock challenges and ensure the Canada Ads business delivers on its 2026 commitments.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of experience
-
Leadership experience within a digital media platform, enterprise advertiser, or agency.

A track record of building and managing a multi-million dollar advertising business.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Domain Expertise: Experience in an Ads platform specifically within a marketplace business or mobile app environment.

People Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading and coaching sales teams, specifically in Digital Ads.

Adaptability: Experience navigating both complex corporate structures and fast-moving, high-growth ventures.

Strategic Communication: Strong ability to use data to influence executive stakeholders and simplify complex technical concepts for partners.

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD**$174,000 per year**

CAD**$193,000 per year**.
