1. Design, scale, code, monitor, and maintain **a highly critical set of services.**2. Contribute to, lead, own, and deliver **complex projects or features.**3. Recruit, onboard, and proactively mentor **engineers.**4. Serve as an escalation point for other engineers to troubleshoot and manage severe incidents in production; encourage the adoption of best practices in incident management within the team.
   ---- Basic Qualifications ----

2. MS/BS in Computer Science or a related field, with at least6 years of individual contributor experience **as a software engineer.2. Fluent in Go, Java, or C++.3. Solid understanding of distributed systems architecture- including concepts like consensus, convergence, load balancing, data consistency, and performance/efficiency.4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate complex ideas to engineering teams.**5. Experience being on-call and handling operational issues for a system serving production traffic.
   ---- Preferred Qualifications ----

3. Prior experience in fintech or payments**.2. Prior experience with Go.3. Proven ability to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.**4. Experience as a tech lead who has mentored or led small teams in building product features at scale.
