As Sales Manager for Uber Eats, you will lead a high-performing team of Account Executives responsible for acquiring and launching restaurant partners across the country. You'll set the commercial strategy, raise the talent bar, and build a culture of performance, ownership, and collaboration. Your leadership will directly impact local merchants, consumers, and the communities we serve.

What You'll Do:

Sales Lifecycle Management:

  • Develop and execute a strategic acquisition plan to expand Uber Eats' restaurant network across Austria.

  • Own forecasting and pipeline visibility, ensuring accurate revenue projections and strong conversion rates.

  • Guide Account Executives through the full sales lifecycle - from outbound prospecting to negotiation and closing.

  • Identify growth opportunities, segment markets effectively, and prioritize high-impact verticals.

Negotiation & Deal-Making:

  • Support and coach Account Executives in closing complex or high-value partnerships.

  • Oversee commercial terms, pricing strategy, and approval processes.

  • Develop objection-handling frameworks and best practices to accelerate deal cycles.

  • Ensure value-driven partnerships that balance merchant success with Uber's long-term growth.

Market & Platform Expertise:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments in Austria.

  • Ensure your team deeply understands Uber Eats' platform, value proposition, and merchant economics.

  • Translate market insights into actionable sales strategies and territory planning.

Sales Coaching & Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Account Executives to consistently exceed targets.

  • Set clear performance expectations and proactively manage risks to goal attainment.

  • Use data to diagnose gaps, rebalance workloads, and optimize performance.

  • Create a culture of accountability, resilience, and collaboration aligned with Uber's values.

  • Articulate a clear vision and translate strategy into measurable team objectives.

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Consistently exceed monthly and quarterly acquisition and revenue targets.

  • Build a high-performing, engaged sales team with strong retention and internal progression.

  • Improve pipeline efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and conversion metrics.

  • Strengthen Uber Eats' market position across key Austrian cities.

  • Develop future sales leaders within your team.

What You Will Need:

  • Fluency in German and English (additional languages are a plus).

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including outbound prospecting and high-volume lead generation.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience leading and coaching sales or commercial teams.

  • Proven track record of exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Strong negotiation and deal-making capabilities in complex client-facing environments.

  • Experience using data and performance metrics to drive strategy and improve outcomes.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred

  • Experience in food delivery, marketplace businesses, or hospitality industries.

  • Experience scaling teams in fast-growth or high-change environments.
