About the Role
Whether it's a sandwich, a burrito, or groceries, the Uber Eats team builds technology to connect people with what they want, when and where they want it. Our Sales and Account Management teams are on the frontline introducing restaurant partners to Uber Eats and partnering with restaurants to grow our businesses together.
As an Outbound Sales Representative, you'll build strong relationships with the best restaurants to deliver a big impact on the restaurant selection on Uber Eats. We are looking for someone who is ready to get going quickly, knows where the best restaurants are, is passionate about food, and enjoys building great partnerships. Your primary focus will be bringing on new restaurants and using your pitching, negotiating, and driving internal processes skills to set up our partners for success. Next to that, you will partner with restaurants to make sure they are onboarded in the platform and grow together with Uber Eats to reach new heights.

What you'll do

Build and manage a sales pipeline, leveraging your local knowledge to expand the restaurant selection available for customers.

Own the entire end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing deals that drive significant business growth.

Develop and maintain long-term partnerships by communicating the value of Uber Eats and our newest product features to help restaurants reach their business goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Operations and Account Management to ensure a seamless onboarding experience and set new partners up for long-term success.

Proactively identify and redesign inefficient processes to ensure the Uber Eats team can move quickly and succeed at a massive scale.

How you'll spend your time

60%on outbound prospecting, including cold-calling, emailing, and in-person meetings.

20%on closing and negotiating new partnerships to bring on a diverse selection of restaurants.

20%on collaborating with internal teams to build new processes and solve partner challenges.
What youll have -
At least 1 year of professional sales experience in a quota-carrying role, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.

Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions to negotiating contracts and managing a pipeline.

Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce, to effectively track sales activities and pipeline health.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate and excel in a fast-paced environment.

A resourceful, persistent, and highly motivated attitude, with a relentless drive to achieve goals and overcome objections.

A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience in the food delivery or hospitality industry is a plus.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
