About the Role
- The APAC L&D Master Trainers will be assigned to a specific business: Rides, Eats, Safety and G&SS and acts as a bridge between the Design & Development and the Learning Delivery team.
- Work alongside our Community Operations team, Regional Comm Ops and BPO Partners, on standard and quality delivery and execution of training programs at the COE and Uber BPO partners.
- This role requires strategic thinking and excellence in training delivery and executing detailed learning plans (using effective training methodologies) and an understanding of how to evaluate the effectiveness of delivery to learner experience and performance results.
- Comm Ops is all about process efficiency, and as a Master Learning Specialist (S4), you would be ensuring that these teams of rockstars are able to continuously provide world-class support to everyone involved in the Uber experience. This role is about building Learning Specialist process/business expertise and excellence in training deliveryfor our COE and BPO Learning programs.

- Deliver high-quality training by applying strong subject matter expertise and adult learning principles to drive learner readiness and performance.
- Partner closely with Ops, QA, and stakeholders to identify performance gaps and design targeted training or refresher interventions.
- Use data (QA, CSAT, productivity) to continuously evaluate training effectiveness and refine delivery approaches.
- Support learners through onboarding, nesting, and post-training phases by providing coaching, structure, and clear expectations to ensure successful transition to production.

- Strong communication and facilitation skills**, with confidence in managing senior audiences and challenging classroom scenarios**2. Ability to drive training outcomes by partnering closely with Operations, Quality, and cross-functional stakeholders3. Demonstrated ability to prioritize, plan, and execute across multiple training requests with minimal supervision

- Experience leading end-to-end training programs, including onboarding, nesting, and post-launch performance support
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles with the ability to adapt training for diverse learner needs

- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and supporting change initiatives in fast-paced environments
