About the Role

Our team's mission is to revolutionise the dining landscape across Sub-Saharan Africa by partnering with the largest organisations, integrating Uber Eats' world-class technology into the enterprise ecosystem. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will spearhead high-impact partnerships with the region's largest corporations and restaurant chains, directly influencing how millions of professionals access food and essential goods. Your work will be the bridge between our global tech capabilities and the unique, vibrant market dynamics of the SSA region. Your success will directly scale our market presence and define the gold standard for strategic partnerships within the food delivery industry.

  • What You'll Do
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Identify, pitch, and close multi-market enterprise deals with large corporate clients and national restaurant franchises across SSA.- Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and value-proposition design to contract finalization and handoff.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Operations, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure bespoke enterprise solutions are feasible and scalable.- Market Intelligence: Act as the "voice of the region," providing feedback to product teams on local market needs, competitor moves, and regulatory changes.- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-tier prospects while fostering long-term strategic alliances that increase Uber Eats' market share.
  • What You Need
  • Educational Background:** Bachelor's degree in Professional Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).- Regional Sales Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or business development, specifically within the Sub-Saharan Africa market.- Strategic Negotiation: Proven track record of navigating complex procurement cycles and closing high-value contracts with C-level stakeholders.- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required to manage regional reporting and international internal collaboration.**
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Vertical Knowledge:** Deep existing networks within the F&B, FMCG, or Fintech sectors across key hubs like Lagos, Nairobi, or Johannesburg.- Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in using data-driven insights (SQL or advanced Excel/Tableau) to build compelling business cases for prospective partners.- Adaptability: Experience working in high-growth tech environments or startups where navigating ambiguity is a daily necessity.**- Multilingualism: Proficiency in Swahili, French or Portuguese is a significant plus for expanding our footprint in additional African markets.

Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let's move it forward, together.

For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time. Please speak with your recruiter to better understand in-office expectations for this role.
