About Us
Uber is changing how people think about transportation, part of the logistical fabric of 600+ cities - giving people what they want when they want it.
Size: 10000+ employees
Industry: Technology
This is a hybrid role and you must be located in, or willing to relocate to San Francisco, Sunnyvale or Seattle for the position.
About the Role:
At Uber, we're reimagining how the world moves for the better. Uber AI Solutions powers this mission by delivering advanced capabilities in AI data solutions, data collection, product testing, and more - now extending these strengths to enterprises to accelerate their own AI and automation journeys.
We are leveraging Uber's decades of experience in large-scale data, and sophisticated AI/machine learning models to deliver cutting-edge AI data products and solutions to businesses globally. Our ecosystem is central to our mission, and we seek a world-class leader to build and scale our most strategic alliances.
This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for establishing and driving our primary partnership strategy across the ecosystem. You will be the architect and driver for our engagement with both traditional, established partners (GSIs, ISVs, and Consulting companies), while strategically supporting the high-velocity startup ecosystem powered by key Venture Capital funds.
The ideal candidate possesses deep experience in strategic partnerships, a strong business development mindset, and a passion for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
What You'll Do
- Global Partner Strategy & GTM Leadership: Define, implement, and own the global engagement strategy for a portfolio of Tier 1 Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), Consulting partners, and strategic Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
- Joint Business Planning: Develop and drive detailed annual joint business plans (JBPs) that include shared revenue targets, marketing initiatives, sales enablement, and solution development roadmaps across all major partner types.
- Solution Development: Lead the creation of co-branded, high-value AI/ML accelerators, professional service offerings, and industry-specific solutions leveraging the partner's expertise and the Uber AI Solutions platform.
- Field Alignment & Operational Excellence: Orchestrate seamless co-selling and co-delivery motions between the partners' field teams and the Uber AI Solutions sales organization. Conduct rigorous Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with partner executive leadership to track performance, manage pipeline, and ensure operational rigor.
- Venture Ecosystem Enablement: Support the broader strategy by identifying and engaging key Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) funds. Drive platform adoption and generate net new business by enabling high-potential portfolio companies (AI-focused startups) to build, deploy, and scale their solutions on Uber AI Solutions.
- Joint Marketing & Demand Generation: Lead the planning and execution of co-branded marketing campaigns, partner events, field sales enablement, and thought leadership content to drive top-of-funnel pipeline and elevate the joint value proposition in the market.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in Partner Management, Strategic Alliances, Business Development, or a related GTM role in the enterprise technology sector (Cloud, SaaS, AI/ML).
- Proven track record of developing and executing joint business plans and driving measurable revenue outcomes through GSIs, Consulting firms, and ISVs.
- Direct experience working with the Venture Capital, Private Equity, or startup ecosystem, specifically leveraging these relationships to influence technology decisions and generate platform adoption.
- Strong technical acumen in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, or cloud computing, capable of defining joint technical value propositions.
- Exceptional executive presence, with demonstrated success engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders (CEOs, CTOs, CIOs) both internally and externally.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or a Master's degree in a technical or business field.
- Experience launching partner solutions and services via a cloud marketplace.
- A pre-existing network within the top-tier US/Global VC community.
- Familiarity with the Uber ecosystem and a high level of comfort navigating a fast-paced, highly-matrixed, global organization.
