About the Role

Uber for Business (U4B) in Japan is rapidly expanding, and positioned as the next star market to scale in the following years. We've been on a mission to create an Uber community within business organizations, leveraging our delightful Delivery and Mobility services to move every organization forward with Uber.
In this role, you will be immersed in an elite sales group and startup-like environment to show the sales velocity and establish enterprise business for U4B Japan
You will be accountable for driving new business acquisitions, managing forecast/ pipelines and executing through the GTM strategies. The ultimate goal is to land and expand the Enterprise segment with the essence of Uber for Business solutions.

What the candidate will do

  1. Plan, strategize and execute the sales GTM plan to achieve the quota in every half year within the Enterprise segment (employee headcount > 2,000)
  2. Strong at identifying the pain points and being able to craft the winning narratives/ pitches to expand the lead-generation.
  3. Solid pipeline management to drive the pacing and forecast numbers with a mature structure and sales cadence.
  4. Coordinate end-to-end sales motions for corporate customers including qualification, education, pricing/quoting, contract negotiation, close deals and launch/ implementation.
  5. Ability to prioritize and locate the key decision makers with sales velocity.
  6. Work cross-functionally to ensure an effective account launch.
  7. Continuously assess customers' evolving needs and aligning Uber for Business's value proposition to drive linkage and adoption

Basic qualifications

  1. 7+ years of B2B sales in the enterprise sector - preferbly selling platform service or tech solution.
  2. B2B direct sales background with 0-100 pipeline management experience.
  3. Proven track record of crafting narratives to drive new business acquisitions - selling "nice-to-have" type of product.
  4. Passionate, resilient, self-disciplined and hustling with hunter mindset. Self-initiating invidivual with a builder mindset.
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams, and manage multiple stakeholders.
  6. Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-pacing environment.
  7. Fluent in Japanese & Business level English.
