About the Role

The Account Executive role is a phenomenal opportunity to demonstrate sales skills and abilities in order to expand our network of Retail SMBs. We are looking for someone who is a natural at selling and has a pulse on the local retail landscape in Mexico,passionate about empowering small businesses and who enjoys building the best partnerships.
Your primary focus will be bringing on new retail merchants in different Cities that fit our partnership criteria and leverage your skills in pitching, negotiating and driving internal processes to set up our partnerships for success!

**What You'll Do:**1.Own the Full Sales Cycle: Identify, prospect, and close new partnerships with high-potential local retailers, managing the entire process from cold outreach to contract signature.
2. Strategic Territory Management: Analyze market trends and data to identify the "best-in-class" shops in your city, building a robust pipeline that ensures consistent monthly and quarterly targets are met.
3. Negotiate & Consult: Conduct high-impact sales pitches and negotiate commercial terms with business owners, acting as a consultant to help them understand the value of the partnership.
4. Drive Operational Success: Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Onboarding, Legal) to resolve bottlenecks and ensure new partners are launched successfully and quickly.

What You'll Need: Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, cold calling, business development, or account management.
Track Record: Proven ability to manage a sales cycle from prospecting to closing, specifically targeting Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs).
Technical Skills: Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Nice to Have: Retail Industry Experience: Previous experience selling technology, logistics, or financial services specifically to retail merchants (e.g., POS systems, SaaS, or FMCG).
High-Growth Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced startup or a tech-first company where adaptability and autonomy are key.
Analytical Proficiency: Ability to go beyond basic sales tracking; experience with advanced Excel, Looker, or Tableau to analyze territory performance and conversion rates.
Established Network: An existing portfolio of contacts within the local retail sector in target cities.
Sales Methodology: Familiarity with formal sales frameworks (e.g., SPIN Selling, The Challenger Sale, Sandler) to navigate competitive markets.
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated experience in managing complex onboarding processes or coordinating with cross-functional teams (Operations, Legal, Finance) to close deals.
