Duties: Drive and support financial planning, building dynamic, detailed, scalable financial models to validate investments as the company continues to grow. Work closely with business partners to make strategic decisions driving Uber's technologies forward. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop financial forecasts and key performance indicators (KPIs), apply business judgment and financial insights to assist with strategic decision making. Build models from scratch, improve existing models, break complex models down into components that consolidate. Analyze variances between actuals, forecast, and plan - use insights to iterate on forecasts and create/discuss potential action plans with cross-functional partners. Help evaluate and drive important initiatives that optimize Uber's cost structure. May telecommute.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Economics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields and two years of experience in the job offered or in an analytics-related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Excel, including advanced formulas;
2. Financial analysis;
3. Financial modeling, including P&L management;
4. Interpreting and processing data, including measuring the financial/business impact of real-world events, and drawing insights from databases;
5. Stakeholder management;
6. Operational and economic metrics, including churn, retention, supply, and demand.
