About the Role
The Uber Eats Delivery Commercial Operations team is seeking a Commercial Planning & Compensation Senior Associate to support the design and execution of Sales Incentive Plans across Latin America. In this role, you will help shape how our commercial teams are motivated and rewarded by supporting incentive design, defining books of business, setting targets, and tracking attainment for Restaurant Sellers and Account Managers.
You will play a key role in setting variable compensation targets across the commercial organization, identifying regional growth opportunities, and translating insights into clear, account-level targets through strong data analysis and recommendations.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution. You will act as a trusted partner to Commercial teams by providing clarity through targets, performance insights, and operational support. You will also collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to ensure global Sales Incentive Plan frameworks are effectively translated into locally executable strategies, owning the end-to-end commercial planning process from target setting through execution and performance tracking.
-
What You'll Do Commercial Planning
-
Lead regional strategy and planning for the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) across LATAM, partnering with Finance, Strategy & Planning, Commercial Leadership, General Managers, and Regional General Managers to define toplines, validate methodologies, and drive alignment.
-
Partner closely with Global teams to influence metric readiness, rules of engagement, and program functionality, translating global SIP guidelines into a scalable and executable regional model that balances consistency with local market needs.
-
Define annual and quarterly targets across metrics and commercial populations, including individual target setting and stakeholder alignment.
-
Continuously assess program effectiveness by identifying opportunities, evaluating metric impact, and ensuring compensation levers drive the intended business outcomes.
-
Sales Incentive Plan Operations
-
Own end-to-end SIP execution across LATAM, including quota setting, attainment tracking, and payouts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with regional and global standards.
-
Lead headcount planning and books of business design, defining team structures, account relevance, and balanced portfolios per seller or account manager.
-
Lead quarterly All Hands and communications to educate Commercial teams on SIP mechanics, updates, and best practices, fostering clarity and trust in the program.
-
Provide day-to-day support to Commercial teams by managing escalations, investigating and resolving issues, and delivering ad hoc guidance and training related to compensation, attribution, performance, and attainment.
-
Partner closely with the Compensation team to ensure payouts are accurate and fully aligned with attainment results.
-
Tooling and Reporting
-
Develop and maintain tools that enable Commercial teams to track progress and attainment, identify gaps versus targets, and take action to improve performance.
-
Build automated reporting that provides Leadership with visibility into performance against targets, program effectiveness, and regional growth opportunities.
-
What You'll Need Basic Qualifications
-
At least 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Strategy & Planning, Business Analytics, or a related field.
-
Advanced data analysis and visualization skills, with strong proficiency in Google Sheets and SQL.
-
Experience supporting Commercial Planning or Incentive programs is a strong advantage.
-
Fluency in English and Spanish.
-
SQL experience is a must for the role.
-
Strong executional and operational rigor, with high attention to detail when working with sensitive data such as commercial performance and compensation.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Commercial teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven insights.
-
Strategic mindset paired with a hands-on approach, comfortable owning scoped initiatives end-to-end, diving into details when needed, proactively identifying risks, and escalating appropriately to ensure successful execution.
