About the Role

Uber competes on a global scale but with hyper-local market nuances including competitive landscape, earner marketplace dynamics, regulatory conditions, and more. We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Earner Subscription team. This team is exploring and building new ways for Earners (drivers, couriers, shoppers) to engage with our platform that provide win-win opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with your Science, Design, and Engineering partners to build and launch innovations that drive product adoption and efficiency. In addition, you will partner closely across other vertical teams like Marketplace collaborate on joint initiatives.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Define and execute product strategies that create net-new subscription packages for earners.
  2. Work closely with Design and Research to improve adoption & retention.
  3. Understand how this model interacts with the many internal marketplace levers we have.
  4. Create a cohesive strategy for global testing & expansion, and embedding deeper understanding of game-theory in how this model should evolve given different responses from our competitors.
  5. Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements for rapid execution.

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of Product Management experience in a very data-driven and experimentation environment.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  1. Prior professional experience in subscription plan strategy (tiering, pricing), and economics reasoning through different recommendations.
  2. Experience working on a multi-sided marketplace is a strong plus.
  3. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make decisions accordingly.
  4. Fast execution mindset: Ability to iterate quickly, test hypotheses, and adapt based on results.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across engineering, operations, and business teams.
  • For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD**$161,000 per year**
  • USD**$179,000 per year**.

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
