About the Role

Uber Direct is our white-label delivery service that enables merchants in Poland to offer fast, same-day delivery from their own websites, apps, or stores - with no need for customers to use the Uber app. You will own the long-term commercial health of these partnerships, ensuring they scale effectively on our platform. Your work bridges the gap between digital strategy and physical logistics at a massive scale.

Success here requires the grit to solve messy problems and the influence to align stakeholders with competing priorities. You must stay steady under pressure, using data to navigate ambiguity and drive results for your partners. You will build deep expertise in the local delivery ecosystem and help define the standard for how the Polish market experiences on-demand logistics.

--- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Driving growth**: Develop plans in conjunction with your assigned accounts to expand their business through growing same-location sales (e.g. effective marketing) or adding locations (e.g. expansion support).2. P&L and operational efficiency: You will build long-term relationships with our key accounts and be the main point of contact from Store Manager to HQ, focusing on improving their operations and optimising commercials.3. Analysis: Quantify everything you do. Utilise an analytical approach to understand the performance of initiatives to ensure you are effectively prioritising those with the highest return on investment.4. Be proactive: This role will require fast thinking on your feet and moving swiftly through complex situations.**
    This is the ideal role for someone with a strategic mindset coupled with next-level account management skills and an operational curiosity. You will have the opportunity to pilot new features, operating models, commercial structures which can be playbooked and scaled across Uber

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. 3+ years of customer or client facing experience ideally in account management, or consulting. Previous experience setting and achieving business targets
  2. Analytical skills**: Comfortable with data analysis, excel, presenting findings and recommendations. Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.3. Commercial acumen: Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business. Ability to build creative commercial strategies for our partners in a fast-growing market.4. Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels.5. Project management: Able to create detailed execution plans for large-scale projects (e.g. launching a new product, onboarding a major enterprise) and then deliver them to plan regardless of any surprises or ambiguity along the way**6. Stakeholder management: Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, e.g., Commercial, Operations, Product (Tech), Finance and Legal teams.
  3. Highly autonomous, self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity: Able to come up with new ideas and execute them autonomously
  4. Polish and English fluency a must
