About the Role:

At Uber, we believe the most successful technology companies are forward-thinking storytellers who keep their products central to every communication and keep their brand at the forefront of culture. The Social team is responsible for telling Uber's story in an engaging, inspiring, and humanizing way across global channels.

We are looking for a Social Media Senior Associate to lead organic social content creation and handle management for Uber in Poland. This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with Uber's EMEA and global social teams, as well as our local Comms, Marketing, and Ops teams, to invigorate and grow our local presence. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic social plans across both Uber and Uber Eats in Poland.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage Local Channels: Own the day-to-day management of Uber's Polish social media accounts, ensuring content is published in a cadence that matches our market and global strategy.

  • Content Creation: Shoot, edit, and create original content (video, graphics, captions) for posts on local channels (Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.). You must be able to nimbly tell stories in an engaging, social-first manner.

  • Strategic Planning: Craft clear and compelling social plans for both timely and evergreen initiatives. You will ideate and launch social-first franchises that ladder into Uber's local priorities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Comms, Marketing, Ops, and Legal to bring new products, partnerships, and brand campaigns to life. Consult on integrated marketing campaigns to ensure they succeed on organic handles.

  • Community & Culture: Engage with our community on owned channels and during key cultural moments. You will also support relationships with key influencers and creators across categories when needed.

  • Data & Analytics: Collect and analyze relevant data to inform smart content choices. You will collaborate on regular social reporting to track engagement and growth.

  • Basic Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in social media content creation and execution.

  • Language: Fluency in speaking and writing in Polish and English.

  • Content Skills: Outstanding video shooting and editing skills with an eye for graphic design. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Cap Cut, Canva, or Photoshop is essential.

  • Platform Knowledge: A deep understanding of major platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube, X) and their respective audiences, features, and best practices.

  • Writing: An excellent writer who can craft clear, concise, and snappy copy, distilling complex announcements into simple, engaging content.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 years of proven Social Media experience, including Influencer, creato,r and talent management experience.

  • Background in entertainment content creation or editorial planning.

  • Experience with social listening and publishing tools like Sprinklr and Brand Watch.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, globally-led collaborative organization.

  • A creative strategist who can spot trends quickly and leverage data-driven insights to craft impactful content.

  • A go-getter who looks forward to rolling up their sleeves, building things from the bottom up, and excels in a fast-paced environment.

  • A team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and stays calm under pressure. Success at Uber depends on the ability to partner internally and externally, and organize around shared goals.
