About the Role
As a Merchant Pricing Manager at Uber Eats Canada, you will play a critical role in shaping how pricing influences merchant success and Uber's overall business performance.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and commercial execution. You will lead the design and implementation of data-driven pricing strategies that balance affordability, growth, and profitability. This is a high-impact, commercially-focused role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure our restaurant partnerships.

What You'll Do

Lead the Deal Desk for all new and renewing merchant deals, ensuring they adhere to internal guardrails for pricing, legal compliance and profitability

Design and lead pricing strategies including structuring the commercial framework, terms, deal economics, and governance rules

Analyze performance and trends, including merchant, price sensitivity, and market dynamics to surface actionable insights

Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal and other key stakeholders to operationalize pricing decisions

Build and maintain reporting and dashboards that track pricing performance and guide strategic conversations

Support cross-functional initiatives that improve merchant economics and engagement through effective pricing

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience in Commercial Sales, Pricing, Finance, Consulting or Revenue Strategy roles

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau, along with modeling scenario impacts

Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of the restaurant or similar industries and how pricing influences customer behavior, conversion, and profitability
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear pricing strategies that balance short- and long-term impact
- Proficiency in Python, R and similar tools
- MBA or Masters degree preferred

- For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD**$95,500 per year**
- CAD**$106,250 per year**.
